Alternative Self-Declaration Scheme II Allowed for Eligible Firms

Under the new five-year transition framework, eligible manufacturers can procure parts or sell products using Scheme II (self-declaration of compliance) instead of the more rigorous Scheme I, which requires Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) factory inspections. The relaxation is available to manufacturers with a consistent three-year record of compliance.
