LAT Aerospace Acquires Sarang Shakti to Bolster Defense Robotics

LAT Aerospace, the aviation venture backed by Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal, has successfully acquired defense robotics startup Sarang Shakti. This marks LAT Aerospace’s first strategic entry into the defense sector, aiming to develop indigenous airborne threat detection and counter-drone technologies. Gurugram-based Sarang Shakti is known for its autonomous interceptors and surveillance systems. The acquisition signals a pivot for LAT Aerospace from strictly civil regional air travel to a dual-use deep-tech aerospace company.
