Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has officially denied media reports suggesting it plans to enter the ready-to-drink (RTD) low-alcohol beverage market. Speculation had circulated that the conglomerate was planning to introduce a line of flavored beverages with low alcohol content to compete with established brands like Bacardi Breezer, leveraging its retail footprint.

Focus Remains on Non-Alcoholic FMCG Expansion and Campa Brand
Reliance clarified that its beverage strategy remains focused on the non-alcoholic segment, particularly scaling its soft drink brand Campa. Through Reliance Retail, the company is investing in distribution and manufacturing to compete with Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, and has no plans to enter the highly regulated alcoholic beverage space.
