Delhivery Delivers Record 1 Billion Parcels in FY26
Delhivery announced a major milestone by delivering over 1 billion e-commerce parcels during the financial year 2026 (FY26). The shipping volume handled in a single fiscal year matches the company’s cumulative delivery volume from its first ten years of operations, highlighting the scale of its automated logistics network.
During the company’s Q4 FY26 earnings call, Delhivery CEO Sahil Barua addressed the competitive landscape, focusing on Amazon India’s decision to open its captive logistics network to third-party merchants (3PL). Barua expressed skepticism regarding the long-term viability of Amazon’s strategy, characterizing it as “an old product in a new wrapper.”

Captive Network Bias Criticized
Barua argued that captive logistics networks are structurally designed to prioritize their own internal retail orders over those of external merchants. He suggested that during high-demand peak seasons, riders would naturally prioritize Amazon’s shipments, potentially placing third-party clients at a disadvantage. He asserted that neutral, independent 3PL players like Delhivery remain more cost-effective and client-focused.
